about me
I like to dance, do yoga, read and write poetry, perform rituals, take long walks, and circle keepers! I do not like violence, put downs/speaking negative of others, when people do harm to themselves or to others, and lima beans. My favorite place is my home. I am good at relating to people, explaining/clarifying things, telling stories, playing, leading games and activities, creating sanctuaries, reading and writing poetry, public speaking, and hugging. My goals in life are to become a sacred women walking, a wise woman, to create more spaces where people heal, love themselves and love each other. My interest in the Restoreative Justice Program is it allows me to love everybody! And to share space that is heartfelt and transformative. I was raised by a single mom, I have a twin sister Yvonne, and an older sister Pamela who is ten and half months older than Yvonne and me. I'm married to a wonderful man James, and we have a fifteen year old son named Ramsey. My favorite music is R&B, Jazz, and acapella, which is a group of people who make music only with their voices. My favorite food is breakfast foods that James makes for me. I'm vegan so I don't eat meat, or dairy, only vegetables. My favorite book to read is Kitchen Table Wisdom by Rachel Naomi Remen. My favorite color is orange and my favorite movie is The Power of Community. Something I am proud of is my son and my circles and circle keepers! If I could chance one thing in my life it would be to spend more time digging in the dirt and cooking and eating meals with my friends and family. If I could change one thing in the world, I would change every meeting would be held in a circle, and we would all speak from our heart and would listen from our heart. We would all really get that we are all one. We would repair the harm that we have caused. Something else I'd like you to know about me is that I wonder often about YOU...

about me
My favorite color is green, and I like to listen to hip-hop, pop, and sometimes classical music. My family is big - two brothers, five sisters (including me) my mom, dad, and my husband. I like to cook, shop, watch movies, listen to music, and spend time with people I love. I dislike messiness, disrespectful and dishonest people. My goals in life are to finish grad school and become an adolescence counselor for youths either living in poverty or youth in general within a community. I like the Restorative Justice Program because I am able to participate, listen, share my stories and experiences, and give feedback.
